Just Once, So Far

Edwin Way Teale wrote something to the effect that many things in nature are seen only once by even the most astute observer of said things.

 

Not saying this is rare but I've only seen it happen once. It could happen again; could happen a hundred more times. It could be setting up to happen a million times in a field just over the horizon. But so far, for me? Just once.

 

Kinda cool to think about, really.
